From your first call, right through the planning stage to the day itself, we will stay with you every step of the way. We will discuss, advise and ensure that every detail is covered and tailored so that your Wedding is all you could hope for.
Forty Hall has been catering for weddings for over 20 years and we have a wealth of experience to offer. We therefore understand the importance of careful logistical and operational planning, every bit as important in ensuring the success of your day.

Timings for your Special Day
The registrars will dictate the time of your ceremony at the venue, dependent upon availability. If you wish only just to have a ceremony at Forty Hall, the ceremony can begin no later than 12:00 hours.
Hire Charges 2007 and Civil Ceremony Charge
(Please note the Room Hire is VAT Zero rated)

Numbers
Once you confirm your booking we will work on the number provided as the estimated number. We will contact you ten working days before the event to request final numbers. This will be the number that will form the basis of the final account.
There is a minimum number of 20 guests, and a maximum number of 148 guests able to attend the civil ceremony
Reception Drinks
We are unable to provide any food or drinks prior or during the ceremony, as per the civil marriage licence.
After your ceremony we would be able to provide up to two glasses of a reception wine or champagne, for a short period while you have photos in the grounds, please see the following options.
Wines
A copy of our full wine list is available on request. Any of the drinks on that list may be supplied on a consumption basis. The prices quoted also include the cost of the staff, management, glasses, ice and any other equipment needed to serve the wines at your event.
To facilitate your selection and provide an estimated budget we have enclosed two drink options for your consideration.

At £4.15 per guest:
One glass of Brugnon Champagne
Freshly squeezed orange juice
Sparkling mineral water
Package 1
At £2.15 per guest:
One glass of house sparkling wine
Freshly squeezed orange juice
Sparkling mineral water
Charge For Serving Your Own Wines
If you would like to provide your own wines we make a charge of:
£2.00 per person for reception wines.
This charge is to cover the cost of providing glasses, ice, bar equipment and extra waiting staff needed to serve the wines.
Table Linen
Included in our ceremony price is the crushed velvet burgundy tablecloth for the registrar’s table. Should you wish, chair covers can be provided at an extra charge from £5.00 per chair.
Colours available include, White, Ivory, Burgundy and Cream with complementing bows or tassels in many colours. In addition we can also hire cloth in velvet, lame and other fabrics if required.

TERMS OF PAYMENT
Prices include VAT.A deposit of 50% of the room hire and ceremony charge will be required with confirmation of booking. Full payment of hall hire plus 50% of the catering should be made two months before the event date. The remaining 50% catering should be paid 10 days before the event together with final numbers.
